About LNF

Building resilience. Restoring dignity. Uplifting lives.

Lim Nguen Foundation is a locally led National NGO empowering displaced and vulnerable communities across South Sudan.

Who We Are

A Locally Led National NGO

Lim Nguen Foundation (LNF) is a National Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2019 and legally registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) under Chapter III, Section 10 of the NGOs Act 2016, Registration No. 4585. LNF was founded and is led by young South Sudanese with lived experiences of displacement. We work alongside displaced, vulnerable and marginalized communities affected by conflict, climate change, poverty and limited access to essential services through locally led humanitarian, development and resilience-building solutions.

We work with refugees, internally displaced persons, women, young people and vulnerable host communities affected by conflict, displacement, climate change, poverty and limited access to essential services. Our work spans humanitarian response, education, health and WASH, protection and GBV, food security and agriculture, livelihoods, climate resilience, digital inclusion and innovation, peacebuilding, and youth leadership and civic engagement.
